The Xiaomi Redmi Note series phones are one of the most popular low-budget phones in countries like China & India. Basically, this series offers good hardware at a cheaper price. So, people seem to be liking the Redmi Note 3 & Redmi Note 4 quite a lot. Now according to a recent leak, Xiaomi will soon release the Redmi Note 5 in China.
So according to this leak, the Redmi Note 5 will be powered by the Mediatek Helio P25 in China & it’ll also have upto 4GB RAM & 64GB Internal Memory. In India though, we’re expecting a Snapdragon 626 or 630 replacing the Helio P25.
This device will also pack Dual Rear Cameras with 16MP + 5MP sensor configuration & in the front there will be a 12MP selfie shooter. The chassis will be an Aluminium Alloy one & there will again be a 5.5 inch 1080P IPS Display again this year. Backing all the hardware, there will be a 4000 mAh Battery. However, this time it has a USB Type-C Port instead of a Micro USB one in the Redmi Note 4. But, fast charging will be not there again.
Now if you aren’t aware, Xiaomi has also unveiled their Mi A1 in India that also houses a Dual Rear Camera system & runs on Snapdragon 625. So, looks like Xiaomi is slowly migrating to Dual Camera systems in their budget line-up as well. So, what do you guys feel about the upcoming Redmi Note 5 ?
